1. Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is 180 Degrees Consulting Frankfurt am Main e.V., RuW-Gebäude, Raum 2.230, Theodor-W.-Adorno-Platz 4, 60323 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, represented by the board named in the legal notice. You can reach us at frankfurt@180dc.org.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The server is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Hostinger under Art. 28 GDPR.
Every time you visit a page, the server automatically records technical information in log files: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the website you came from, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status code, and your browser and operating system. We need this information to deliver the website, to keep it secure and to find errors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and working website. Hostinger deletes the log files automatically after a short period.
3. Contact by email
When you email us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message in order to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your message relates to a possible project, partnership or membership, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR otherwise; our legitimate interest is answering your request. We delete your data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require us to keep it.
Our email address is run on Google Workspace, which the global 180 Degrees Consulting organisation provides to its branches. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision.
4. Applications and event sign-ups
We recruit new members through an application form provided by monday.com. You reach it through a link on our application page; the form itself is not part of this website, and opening our pages does not send anything to monday.com.
What we process. The data you enter in the form (your name, email address, phone number, details about your studies and your grades) and the documents you upload (CV, cover letter, transcripts and references), together with the time at which you gave your consent. We use this data only to handle your application and to organise the selection process, including interviews.
Where your data is stored. Your application is stored on our recruiting board in monday.com. The provider is monday.com Ltd., 6 Yitzhak Sadeh Street, Tel Aviv 6777506, Israel, which also processes the data you enter in the form, including your IP address. The board is part of the monday.com account that the global 180 Degrees Consulting organisation provides to its branches. The European Commission has recognised that Israel ensures an adequate level of data protection. Where monday.com uses service providers outside the EU, in particular in the USA, the transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the EU standard contractual clauses. Within 180DC Frankfurt, only our recruiting team has access to your application.
Legal basis. We process your application on the basis of your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing frankfurt@180dc.org. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing up to that point. Once you withdraw, we delete your application and can no longer consider it. The fields marked as required are needed to assess your application; without them you cannot apply.
Event sign-ups. You can sign up for our online info session through a separate monday.com form, which we link from our events section. We process the first name and email address you enter there to send you the meeting link and to organise the event, on the basis of your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, and delete them after the event.
Storage period. We delete your application three months after we receive it. If you join our team, we move the data you need as a member into our member records and keep it for as long as you are a member.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18) and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you can object to the processing for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). To exercise these rights, simply email frankfurt@180dc.org.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden.
